Colorado fluorite is hardly common... but these classic octahedra from Mount Antero are probably the best known next to the rhodochrosite localities. This specimen has two deep purple crystals perched on a small bit of quartz matrix. From Mt. Antero, Chaffee County, Colorado, USA.

Measures:   5 x 4 x 3.5 cm
